  • Next Update 1: Excessive noise in GI when Environment Fog is used

    Hey guys,
I have a problem here with a scene using environment fog. The RGB beauty looks clean and as expected. However, when I take a look at the GI element, it is full of heavy noise. When I put these together in Photoshop, I can not get the same result as in the RGB pass... Any ideas what the issue is?

Edit: Disabling the adaptive domelight and the consistent lighting elements option fixes the problem. But I don't think this is the intended behaviour.

Is that a matte object? Have you tried without it too see if that's the problem?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

No, there are no matte objects in the scene. All the objects you can see there are directly visible to the camera.

Ok, I think I've reproduced it.
