  • VrayNext GPU vs CPU IPR region re-rendering, adaptive lights include/exclude

    Hello

    a) please watch this video
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adcYYGeB6FY

IPR GPU vs CPU re-rendering the region of already clean parts its ok with GPU but CPU re render everything instead....
It was working fine in older Vray (before next) with Active shade

I'm used to work with CPU on my heavy scenes and I was really used to work with those small regions... now its gone .

    b) would it be possible to have "include/exclude" lights/object lights option from Adaptive lights ? some strong lights behind objects in some cases needs to be taken seriously even when they are not seen directly especially when VrayEnvFog is in the scene.

    Thanks

    Hey,

For a) - it's gone because the CPU IPR is not using ActiveShade, while the GPU IPR is still using AS behind the curtain. Anyway it's in the to-do list for CPU IPR.

For b) - ideally AL should do fine in all scenarios without the need of manual exclude/include, so can you please send me the scene?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done
