  • Render node actively refuses DR

    Hi Vray community

Prior to install of Vray next, all render nodes worked fine. Now after install of next 1.1, 1 of my 5 nodes refuses to work.

I have checked that all nodes including the one in question has the current version of all programs and plugins.
Fire wall to all machines are correct (they all the same settings.).

Would one have any idea the reasoning why a machine actively refuses to work other than what mentioned above?

i have 5 render nodes and 1 workstation
I have chaos licence server activated.
    Using max 2019

    thank you for your time

    Results:
Our IT stated that Vray wasn't opening up a port for the main workstation to work together. After 30min of doing what they do, a solution couldn't be found.
Uninstalled Vray from the node and re-installed....It now works.
The old turn off, turn on solution!

Normally TCP ports 20204 and 30304 (licensing) should be allowed on all machines for both incoming and outgoing connections. Also license settings should be correct.
You can also get such message if you don't have backburner installed.
