  • presenZ VR quality and maximum render resolution

    hello,

why is the render resolution of the vray-presenZ rendering limited to 5750 pixel?

i just rendered a test image with 4000x2000 pixels and the quality was not that good. see the gap between the sofas.it look quite transparent there
it seems that there are some "pointclouds" missing. i want to render it next days in maximum resolution and see if it gets much better.

    any ideas? thanks

so i did a new rendering with maximum resolution of 5970.

i think that i do something wrong. quality is still not good... if you look at one of the first prerendered scenes from presenZ ( i attached here ) the overall detail and renderquality looked much much better than for example the new prerendered architectural scenes presenz offers within their latest Architecture_Demo content ...?!?

maybe somone from vray knows help.

    thanks !

      Have you contacted Presenz support?

        yes, today

        update:

Thanks for your interest in PresenZ, and apologies for your bad results.

We are aware of issues with small spaces which creates some holes. We already came up with a solution in the new version, which is not released yet, but I can provide you an installer.

The new version will require your save path in the frame buffer to end with .prz ie: C:\Users\Name\PresenZ_Render_v01.prz

You will receive a google drive link.

In addition the resolution of 5790 is not going to give you a much better results than something like 4000x2000, I personally never go over 5000x2500. It's better to increase the bucket samples to get a better image quality.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or issues with the new plugin.

Thanks for the info. So it wasn't on V-Ray's side after all.
