How to re-engage slaves in DR?

I have Vray open on the main computer but am not using the host as a rendering machine. Rather, I'm using four slave machines to render in DR. Periodically, they knock out. Sometimes they come back and join in 10 minutes later, sometimes 30 minutes later, sometimes not at all. I'm not sure if it is a low-memory issue on the slaves or if the network is pinging and not receiving a response quickly enough. Is there anything that I can do, or parameter to set, to have a better chance that the disassociated slaves can rejoin, and more quickly?

In the render dialogue window, click on the DR settings button, resolve your slaves, and hit ok. This will re initiate.
