  • Noise Material Offsets and Phase not updating in an animation?

So, I'm trying to animate a material with a noise component - the noise has animated offsets and phase - and when I render out an animation with those curves set, I do not see it reflected in the animation as I would expect. changing the first and last keyframes results in the material changing as expected, but only for the first frame rendered. When I render individual frames along the timeline, each snapshot is animating as I'd expect as well. I'm using 3dsmax 2018 with VRay Next 1.1.
Here's a scene that demonstrates the issue. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R7Z...ew?usp=sharing
What can I do to fix this?

I assume you mean the engine part. I rendered the first 2 frames and the material is phasing as expected. Did this in 2019.
I isolated just that specific model part and changed to a static view so the effect is easily seen. So seems to be ok.

Did you render each frame separately? 1 and then 2? or did you kick off a sequential frame render?

Okay. I believe you! I restarted my computer, after trying it *again* this morning, and it is finally working. Not sure what the issue is, there were no warnings being thrown. :/
