  • VRay Stand Alone not appending frame # on output.

    Rendered a vrscene with:
    -interactive=0 -display=0 -rtEngine=0 -frames=64 -numThreads=0

and instead of adding .0064.exr to the fileoutput it just rendered as ..exr

Any ideas on what might be going wrong where? This same set of flags renders correctly on other vrscenes.

Open the .vrscene with notepad and make sure the line 'img_file_needFrameNumber=1'.

Thanks Aleksandar. Where does the bug lie that needs to be fixed so that I can file the bug report properly? It was submitted using deadline's Standalone Workflow submission from 3ds max. Is it a bug in the deadline submitter or was it a glitch in the VrScene exporter script?

You mentioned this happens on a specific .vrscene. Could you send the file from which it was exported to support@chaosgroup.com for investigation?
