My colleagues have some weird issues rendering with Vray Next Update 1.1 through backburner. They state that 'sometimes it doesn't render the lights' when send through backburner. So not only the dome light, but also sun light, plane light, etc... When rendered locally it seems its fine. But when backburner is involved even the 'local' computers have this issue. And this is with multiple scenes. The only thing that seems visible is light materials. I can't show any examples because of NDAs. Hope this is enough to go on.

So this is kind of a huge problem here. Are there some things we can try? Settings are LC/BF.Last edited by Vizioen; 10-04-2019, 02:56 AM.

I did some more tests with a simple scene no textures. Only 3 Vraylights (plane and sphere). Scene is dark as night. If I replace the lights with Standard lights (omni). It renders as it should. It seems that all Vraylight Objects aren't rendered.

Seems like this might be caused by the CRP and ALC virus scripts:

Thank you for the phone call and support. It seems most of our renderfarm computers and a few workstations have been infected by this script and it nested itself in the AXYZdeleter script of anima. For now we've installed the autodesk security tools on all our computers and on the renderfarm computers and it seems the problem has been solved for now. This is part of Max 2019 SP2 but we're still on 2018, for future reference.
In any case it's solved Thank you very much.
