  • Bug 03. Vray 1.46.15 and PyroCluster3

There is a problem with using Vray and PyroCluster together.
    Max 7. PyroCluster 3. Vray 1.46.15

The first picture is rendered by Default Scanline Renderer -

the second one - by Vray

If i use AfterBurn all its OK

Known issue for me. The solution - use afterburn. I posted the same earlier in public area - no reply . . . so think it's useless to post q. like that.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

CRAP!! I don't have afterburner. I want to use Pyrocluster. Vlado, any chance of getting this fixed or is this a cebas issue?

        Thanks!

I have no idea; does pyrocluster have a demo version?

          Best regards,

They have a 14-day demo. One need to shoot some email to edwin though..

This might be connected to the way vray starts the rendering process (pretty wild guess).

When using the scanline renderer, there is an additional prerender-pass where pyrocluster calculates its internal shadow maps.

this pre-pass is missing when using vray as a renderer, which might cause the flat appearence of the pyrocluster effect.

So you think it's more VRay issue than pyroCluster ? I think that too, but no one is care about solving or telling smth...

I wouldn´t say it this way, but its obviously something that should be looked at.

Might be Vray not handling a specific prerender event, might be pyrocluster, might be max. But at least to me it looks not too hard to fix.

Nope, it's only a VRay issue - coz Brazil and (of course) fR correctly render pC...

I haven't had time to look at this yet; will get there sometime soon.

                      Best regards,
