  • Material Select issue in Vray Standalone

    Hi,
I have an object with VrayBlendMtl and I want to render Material Select elements from the materials that are part of the VrayBlendMtl.
This is working fine inside 3ds Max but when exporting to .vrscene it does not get exported, I dont have this issue with simple materials like VrayMtl only with the VrayBlendMtl, maybe this is not supported in standalone.
I have attached 3ds max 2019 scene with a simple example, if you export it to vrscene the Material Select elements do not get exported.

        Hello,

Sorry for the delayed reply. There's something wrong with your attachment - it's zero size ?
But even without it - what you want is to get a separate MtlSelect render element for each material inside the VRayBlendMtl right? Unfortunately that is not supported - for now we only export MtlSelects for the materials that are directly assigned to geometries. I'll make a note in our internal system to fix that.

        Best regards,
