  • Update 2 IPR Slow ?

    Hello,
i noticed that using IPR uses around 30% of CPU usage, and VFB around 90-95% of CPU usage...
something special to do to get full speed in IPR ?

    Thanks

Do you mean you get different performance between Viewport IPR and IPR in the VFB?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

yes exactly, in IPR 30% usage of the cpu(s), and VFB is around full CPU usage

Can you send me the scene and make a video of what exactly are you doing?

I tried on a different workstation with simple simple teapot scene, simple hdri, in the begining the viewport ipr works fine, same speed as vfb, but then after a while turning and playing around, stopping and restarting the viewport ipr, I got the same speed slowdown. Very noticeable in the viewport display, and Cpu usage confirms the slowdown

            Used cpu next update 2

It's from the Curve CC, we are looking into it.
