I'm trying to render out an ocean surface created in maya using the boss ocean surface. It works fine with regular displacement but when I try to use the vector displacement there seems to be an issue with how vray for max handles the vector space.
I think that the boss system is saving the vector information in world space but the vray displacement modifier in max only has options for tangent and object space.
Is there a work around for this? The vector displace looks better than the straight up displacement and I would prefer to use it if possible.
