  • Vray Next GPU _corrupted frames

    Hello
    I'm trying to render simple animation (only camera is moving) for interior using Vray Next GPU with Progressive mode with all settings set to default but I found strange issue.
    Some of the frames will either :
    1-stop rendering after few seconds leaving very noisy render (like 4 random frames in the 100 frames length animation) with a message in the log saying
    "error: Unhandled exception occurred, will exit render loop " and the render will start for the next frame.
    2-or just freeze max and everything including mouse and windows and I have to force shutdown my PC.
    what's weird tho that as I have only the camera animated if I select its key frames and moved them one frame forward I can render the problematic frames (render frame 46 instead of 45 that had an issue earlier) and these random frames can be different from one camera to another .
    also the same frames can be rendered without any issue using VrayNext cpu .
    is this a known issue ? I will zip the file and send it to support but this will take a while as the file is a bit heavy and I have slow connection here .
    Win 7 , V-Ray 4.2 , Max 2020.

    Update:
    The issue seems to come from an IES light and if I turn it off everything render just fine.
    I deleted all the materials/geo except the walls and the lights and zipped the file.
    please take a look at it and let me know if you can re produce the issue.
    the problematic frames are ( 01/ 33/45/76).

    Update 2:
    If I turn off the VraySun and kept the IES lights, I can render these frames without any issue

          The issue is till there with the latest update (Update 2.1)
