  • Refraction problem

    Hello,
I have a problem that has started to appear after some Vray update (not sure if that started with Vray next). I use Vray Next (update 2). As You can see on attached image the everything behind glass is doubled. I can't get rid of that. I tried to add shell to the geometry of the glass and increase Refraction IOR to 1,3 but receive to much distorted refraction (on the attached image geometry is without shell and IOR is 1,001). In the older versions of Vray I had no such problems - refraction IOR 1,001 on thin geometry worked perfectly. Now I have to render that area twice - with and without glass.
    Can You help?
    All the best

Can you isolate a piece of that glass and send me the scene?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

probably the glass material is double sided and has the reflect on back side ticked. and the glass object has thickness. Can you confirm that?

        Hello,
        Sorry for late reply.
@slizer: sending that piece to You. Thank You!
@garipodelu: I tried with single sided geometry and with shell modifier. Same issue.
