  • VFB history completed disappeared without trace (and for no reason) ?

I was working on a project, I shut down the computer for the day. Restarted my computer later on in the day to do some more work, and my vfb history is completely empty ?

Has anyone experienced that before ?

First time ever for me - no trace, vfb_history folder empty, nothing in the recycle bin, plenty of storage space on disks etc etc......

    ouch!
Try a file recovery utility asap on the disk you kept the folder on.
It looks like some app swept your drive clean, verify it hasn't gotten rid of more stuff!

To answer your question: no, never happened, and i run the latest nightlies (not even the stable ones...). This said, i'm a sample of 1.

      Thanks Lele,

I'm working on this project right now, fortunately in this instance it wasn't a major problem, but it did ONLY delete the vfb_history files within that folder. Everything else for this project is intact with nothing else missing.

I have a very large memory allocation for VFB files and I only had a few (small ones at that) so that was nowhere near exceeded.

And even if, stuff would be in the thrash can. very very odd indeed.
