Ever since Vray Next, I've noticed that input fields in VFB are very hard to use. I mean, it's really hard if not impossible to highlight/select parts of the values with the mouse and also I have to enter the value 2-3 times for them to take effect. Anyone else noticed this? It happens on 2 different PCs here. It's extremely frustrating. Not only this, but the decimal symbol is comma when my whole system is set up to use period. I think the VFB is the only place in Max that I've seen using comma. Maybe it's part of the issue with the input fields?

I find this annoying too. I tend to fiddle with exposure slider a lot and sometimes i just want to punch in integer value like 0 or 1, and it`s just not behaving like expected when trying to select with mouse drag, clicking, double clicking. Most of the time i end up adding number, instead of overwriting - which is what i want. Then to fix it i have to go and select with keyboard shift+home/end to finally get where i want.Last edited by psanitra; 27-08-2019, 01:40 AM.Noemotion.net - www.noemotion.net

Haha almost nothing about the VFB input is working like it should it's extremely frustrating. No point in fixing the unreadable icons, broken input, UX, ... Time to release VFB 2.0 guys/girls

Yup, it's time for VFB2
It would still be useful if you can record a short video with the issues you are having - it will help a lot.
The comma vs dot is a general issue with 3ds Max though, it randomly flips between both for some mysterious reason. There are a lot of complaints about it, not specifically related to V-Ray or the VFB. Autodesk is looking into some potential solutions, afaik.
Best regards,
VladoI only act like I know everything, Rogers.
