  • VrayMtlWrapper - matte problem

    Hello,
I have this strange "bug" whenever I use MtlWrapper (or normal Mtl with "matte" option)
As you can see, there is this strange "color light leak" under the wheels, the Alpha channel is weirdly colored as well.
When I use the exactly same floor material without the Wrapper/matte, everytinhg looks fine.

I'm pretty sure it causes Light Cache as a secondary GI engine.
When the secondary engine is off (or Brute force is on instead od LC) problem goes away.

What is happening - can you hlep?

This is a known issue, which has already been reported to our developers and is on their to-do lists. As a workaround, disable the 'Receive GI' option in the VRayMtlWrapper parameters of your matte object (or disable it from the V-Ray properties if not using a MtlWrapper).
