  • Using caustics completely messup the hair shader

Hi, another problem with caustics, it completely mess up the hairs, making them SUPER DARK, like if there is no scattering at all occuring in them ..

in the image with the dark hairs, caustics are activated ( trying to get caustics on the eyes... ) but completely destroys the hairs appearance.. they were supposed to look super bright like on the other pic wich I turned off the caustics and I figured out it was the problem ...

Which caustics are you talking about, here, photon mapped, or GI?
If Photon mapped, you should exclude the hair object from generating and receiving them using v-ray properties (it really doesn't make much sense to calculate them for hair, with the current tech.).
