Dark Buckets

I am not sure why this is happening. I am having flashbacks to the early V-Ray days. With DR I get dark buckets on the slave and without, no dark buckets. I am not doing anything special here, so I am not sure why I am getting the dark buckets.

I removed a substance material and the dark buckets went away. Isn't substance supported in DR?

Just a random thought (I don't use substance materials in Max) but might it be a plugin that isn't present on your slaves?

I installed it on my slave, so I am not sure.
