auto vertical tilt correction is not working in grab viewport-create preview animation

all said in the title. physical camera flips,... with and without correction.

it is a long term problem since years i feel...
could you please fix this if you find time

I am unable to reproduce the issue with both Max's and V-Ray's physical camera - the preview seems to be with identical tilt correction as the production render. Could you send us a sample scene with instructions on how to replicate the issue to support@chaosgroup.com so we can investigate?

Thanks for the provided scene. I rendered a preview animation using the 'Preview - grab viewport' from the attached file, however, there was no issue with the auto-vertical tilt correction whatsoever - it seems to render as expected. Could you elaborate more on the issue, maybe provide some screenshots, illustrating the alleged issue?

Thanks for the clarification. It seems the issue is Autodesk 3ds Max related - it is reproducible in 3ds max 2018 and 2019, however, it seems to be fixed in 3ds Max 2020. This is the reason I wasn't able to reproduce it in the first place, pardon me!

did a test in max2020.1 and it does not work. it does not flip, ok...but it does not respect the auto vertical tilt cvorrection AT ALL...
