  • BUG: DR buckets on a matted plane render green

    Hello,
we have a weird problem here.
Simple scene lit with a mapped HDRI light.
Underlaying plane set to work as a shadow catcher.
Trying to render this as a DR job and the result is that the buckets on the matted plane only render right on the local machine. The contributing DR buckets render the matte plane GREEN!!!
Also, unlike the local machine, they stay on the matted plane parts considerably longer.
    Everything relinked, mapped well.
Here is what it does....any ideas? Looks a lot like a bug to me.
    Thanks!
    M

      Hello,

First thing that comes to mind - do you have any non V-Ray materials ? There were issues with standard materials causing green artifacts some time ago.

Other than that, probably writing to support would be better in this case - if you can send them the scene they will check it.

      Best regards,

Did some tests and it looks like this is caused by the shadow color in the shadow catcher's V-Ray object properties. More specifically - when it's different than the default black color. I've logged it in the bug tracker (ref. VMAX-9304)
