Alembic crash to desktop on VRay 3.7

Hello people! I'm having trouble getting those alembic files working with VRay 3.7 and Max 2020.2. It's instant crash to desktop once you scrub the timeline throughout all the frames.

Thanks for the report and the provided files. The issue seems to be fixed in V-Ray NEXT, however, I will notify our developers to see if it's possible to add the fix to 3.7 as well and reply back.

A follow-up question - is this the only problematic alembic file or are there others?

Every alembic file with animated geo has this problem AFAIK. Do you have alembic files with animated geo and changing poly count for me to test?
