  • problem with reflective materials that have Glossiness less than 1

I'm not sure if this issue is already known, I tried searching on the forum but couldn't find anything.
So the problem I found is that all reflective materials that have the glossiness parameter less than 1 display the reflections wrong.
Take a look at the images attached.

I'm using 3Ds max 2019 and Vray Next Update 2.1
Is there any workaround or is this fixed in the latest update?

    Thanks

    UPDATE
I managed to find the culprit... At work because of the tight deadlines we sometimes we set the retrace value to zero. I know it's not the ideal way of doing things but we discovered that most of the times the render times skyrocket if it's on.
So the problem happens only if retrace is set to zero.
I'll just leave this here in case somebody has the same problem.

This is actually one of the very reasons why retrace was introduced.
Check it out here in the Docs.
