ppt and blend material

I think there is problem with ppt and blend materials. when masked with a map I get black areas. I have notised it in the light cache calc allso but it doesn´t show in the final rendering.

Thanks, I´planing on makling some animations with it. When can I expect it? w´d it speed things up if ure able to set number of bounces?
