  • Viewport does not match render

    Hi,

After a tedious perspective match I got it as to where it's "okay" in my viewport. When I render that camera the geometry suddenly changes position, it seems as if my scene somehow rotates. When we open this scene on a different computer, the vieport matches the render, meaning it doesn't render in the correct place. Does anyone have any clue what might be causing this and how to fix it?

I know this isn't much of a solution, but for me, I would just crop out the rendering and photoshop it on - the viewport preview does look better though as well for some reason!. Could it be because of the difference between the viewport proportions and the frame buffer?. Sorry I cant really help - surely someone out there will know!

      Hi Paulison,

Thanks for the reply! I was about to go to the same PS conclusion when I fiddled a bit with the resolution. It appeared that the resolution in regard to my (safe frames) viewport caused the difference. When you adjust the resolution and the grey borders disappear (see the viewport jpeg) it renders what it shows. Not sure why this is the solution but I'll take it.
