vrimg2exr crashing

Image size is 27,648 x 13,824, the file size is 2,346,003 which doesn't seem unusual. Every workstation I try running vrimg2exr on, crashes. Even clicking the Info button crashes the program. VRay 3.7, 3ds Max 2019. Denoiser was used in Max and saved in the file, and it looks like all channels were saved with it.

Anyone else having the same issue and found out why?

Try increasing the 'Buffer size' to a value above the image size so as to convert the image in one pass and see if that makes any difference.

I don't think i ever tried it on an image of that size.
Does the image open fine in, say, nuke or similar tool?
Regardless, could you send it to support?
The info button shouldn't initiate conversion, so it should be very quick and very light to process, it's odd it should crash at all.
