  • IPR refreshes a little too much.

Hi. Not sure if this is the intended behaviour but there are a few cases I'm coming across where a IPR refresh isn't needed, not sure if you can do anything about it.

Compact material editor and slate editor : when "clicking through" a material, so entering a map or whatnot, a refresh is triggered (90% of the time), even when no parameters are changed.

Switching between compact and slate material editor.

When using the eyedropper to add a material in the slate editor.

I'll report more cases if I come across them, as I want to use the IPR more.

Thanks; we'll see what we can do about these.

Hi Vlado, I notice that "clicking through" a material still refreshes the IPR even without changes. Are there any solutions on the horizon? Thank you.

        Edit:

Actually, switching between compact and slate still triggers the refresh (but weirdly only when switching from compact to slate).

Eyedropper triggers a refresh but only in slate I have the impression.

When clicking on a map button in compact it triggers a refresh but going back up (with the level higher button) it doesn't.

And in slate if I switch between materials, all is good but when I switch between maps/textures it refreshes. Strange.

Yeah that's what I meant with the last remark. Anything but switching between materials itself, causes a refresh in slate.
