  • VFB Background Image - sRGB/LUT affects Background

    Hi there.

The sRGB settings in the VFB affects the VFB Background image! Essentially it makes the background image much to bright which makes it "completely" useless!
Is that a bug? I am on Max 2020 and VRay Next 3.1. I can't remember having that issue in Max 2018 some time ago.
So this is really ruining my day... any help?

Hmm. I used a tiff image as background. When saved as jpg, the background image seems to work fine. Not sure if that is how its supposed to be...

The sRGB curve functionality is for previewing purposes only (it is not saved in the image). It is possible that the tiff image was with other color space/gamma settings resulting in a duplicated gamma curve.
