Yes, I am a dinosaur and here is my ancient Jurassic question: (I know this is a longshot).
I am using MAX2014--Vray 2.4--RPM 5.1 (Render Pass Manager) I have my pipeline built around this setup. I have used RPM for a very long time but only recently started using it with Vray 2.4.
In most circumstances, RPM works great submitting Vray renders. But one problem is... if I setup a pass in RPM using Vray, the RPM pass does not record and use the contents of the Environment Map slot.
So for example: if I put a map (VraySky or bitmap) into the Environment Map slot... when I click the Vray pass in RPM... the Environment Map slot is emptied and the render happens and there is no image in the background... just black.
So for you RPM users... has RPM never been able to keep the VraySky map in the Environment Map slot when submitting a pass? I can't quite figure out how to make RPM keep whatever is in the Environment Slot.
(I have also submitted this question to the RPM developer but haven't heard back yet).
Thank you from way back in time!!
