I don't save using the VFB often, but when I do, it is a 50-50 shot that the VFB will freeze into Not Responding freeze. Is it just me?

It just happened again. I am not saving, I am just pulling down the icon to get to the other saving options. I pick and hold the icon and then it freezes. 2 hours gone!Last edited by glorybound; 17-03-2020, 04:21 PM.Bobby Parker

I am using the latest V-Ray and the resolution is usually always 4K. I have some elements, like reflection, specular, denoiser. As I said, I am not even getting to the save part. I think it has something to do with MAX. Often, when I pick buttons for a script, it'll lock up MAX, but not always. Like, if I pick Collen's relink script. Most of the time it'll work, but other times picking the icon will lock up MAX.Bobby Parker

There is no need to download it. Standalone is included with the installation of V-Ray for 3ds Max.
To export and render your scene using Standalone simply right-click in the viewport and choose .vrscene exporter option. A dialog window will open. Set your export path and click Export and Render.
