  • Resumable Rendering error

    Hi there,

I tried to use resumable rendering last night (first time with progressive render). I had to stop it this morning to work and tried to resume the render now but got the attached errors (I had made absolutely zero changes). The vrprog file is where it should be.

    Vray Next, 3DS Max 2014.

    Please help,
    Thanks

      Hi,

This error means that the resolution, render region, or image filter has changed from the original render.
You can also try to open the vrprog file from the VFB as an image to see if it's loading at all and to check the resolution and region.

That's why I thought it odd...I literally changed nothing.

I tried to open the vrprog from the VFB but it doesn't allow me.

Well, either something changed, or the file is broken for some reason. If it opens in the VFB, it's likely not broken. We're not aware of any issues that could cause this.

What do you mean by this? You open the file and nothing happens, or it doesn't show the file in the Open window? If it doesn't show it in the window, just select "V-Ray progressive resumable file" or "All supported formats" for the file type. By default it only shows vrimg files.
