Hi again,
we're still experiencing problems with lightmaps.
We've detected where the problem is. When Max 7's RTT generates lightmaps with VRAY as renderer we've seen that the lightmap has the diffuse map in it.
I mean, the lightmap doesn't store the ilumination only but the material textures too.
How can we avoid that, as we only want the ilumination map?
We attach 2 images showing the "lightmaps". In one of them the problem is evident. U can see the Kandinsky's paint when the desirable is the illumination map. When we multiply the lightmap and the diffuse in our engine, if the diffuse map is dark we get an almost black object.
Thanx in advance,
Alex
