RGB and effectsresult layer behave differently

Hi guys,
when I load my exr in PS and apply the same camera raw settings first to original RGB layer, then to denoised layer they look different. Is that normal? They especially react differenty to highlights/shadow sliders. Rendered with latest vray.

Could you post a screenshot of the original RGB/denoised image and their differences after the filter has been applied?

Here they are. Although if I used stronger settings (more highlights reducing, or shadow brightening) the difference is more pronounced.

I was just checking some of my other projects because I remember I had scenes with this strange behavior but can't find it. On most projects it's ok I just realized.
