  • Background color in vray render affects the scene color

    Hello Team,

I am facing an issue with vray gpu in 3ds max 2018.

When I change background color in vray, it affects the scene color also.
Like, if I use red color as background the whole scene will become reddish. or, if i use blue color as background, the whole scene will become bluish.

I have attached photos for reference. original.png is the original scene. Redddish.png is after applying red as background color bluish.png is after applying blue color as background.
    U can see the difference.

I do not want the background color to affect the scene color.
    Please help.

Set all environment overrides to black after changing background color.

Yup, what kosso_olli said. You can find these in Render Setup (F10) > V-Ray tab > Environment rollout > enable "GI environment" and "Reflection/refraction environment" and make sure both color swatches are black if they aren't already.
