  • RawLighting render element colors random objects in Bucket Mode

    Hi,

I've encountered an issue where RawLighting pass makes some objects colorized, which is a problem for consistent compositing in Photoshop. (see attachments for comparison)
The issue occured when we switched from Progressive Image Sampler (which is our daily basis sampler) to Bucket. We needed to do that because of RAM shortage (we also switched to 'raw render to file' mode with Memory Frame Buffer turned off).
Does anyone know if it's related to Bucket Mode or maybe to the way raw .vrimg files are handled?

    Setup specs:
    3DSmax 2015
    Vray 3.7 CPU
    Irradiance Map + Lightcache
    Full lights evaluation
    Cam1 - HDRI lighting
    Cam2 - Vray Sun + Sky lighting
Color mapping mode = color mapping only

    Best regards,
    Przemek

Could you send the scene to support@chaosgroup.com so we can take a look? Mention this thread in the e-mail.

      Thanks for reply,

Should I send just a max file or an archive with all the assets? Greenery and furniture are mostly proxies.

      Best regards,
      Przemek

A simplified version of the scene would suffice if the issue is present. If not, send an archive of the scene.
