RTT render - lens effect settings always opens automatically

hello,

i think all is said in the title.with every new RTT render have to close it again .i cant remember that there ist a field addressing this...

Not sure exactly what you mean. Could you share a video recording of the issue reproduction?

if i click at render in the RTT dialog VFB opens and with it the lens effects dialog and this rayfx dialog.

Regarding the lens effects, try docking the menu by right-clicking the lens effects icon then left-clicking it to hide it.
As for the Raytrace message, navigate to the ActiveShade rendering mode with Scanline as the rendering engine and in the Raytracer tab disable the "Show messages" option.

Try:
1. Disabling third-party plugins
2. Reinstall V-Ray
3. Resetting your 3ds max preferences to their defaults by renaming the ENU folder to ENU_old (C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\ 3dsMax \2021 - 64bit). Upon starting 3ds max, a new ENU folder will be created with the default preferences.
