5 VFB history auto-saves when auto-save unchecked

Hm do you mean that images are saved to history when render ends or after render when you load some other image from history ?

There 2 boxes that can be checked but the second one only shows if you check the first 'autosave ' box. I have none checked and it still saves whenever I stop it.

So - it happens just at the end of a render and not after loading an image from history ? Does it happen on every scene - if it is specific to a given scene can you send it ? If not - can you record a short video of what happens ?

No it happens whenever I stop an ipr render, not just on render end.
I'm midway through something but will record something in a bit.

EDIT: I have no idea how, but it stopped happening. Weird, as it has been doing this for days without me knowing why.
Maybe it was simply going into the tab and out again that somehow made it kick in...
I can't even grab a screen to prove it as I deleted all of the useless ones already.
If it happens again...dunno.
