  • VRayBitmap vs Bitmap viewport display - VRayBitmap not working correctly

    Hi Guys

    In Max 2021, VRayBitmap is not displaying correctly in viewport. Its showing 1 version of the texture, with the rest where it would typically repeat or tile, showing black. Regular bitmap works fine though.....

    What version of V-Ray are you using? Could you attach a simple scene or a screenshot of the issue?

      I'm reviving this post....

      V-Ray 5 update 1.2
      3ds Max 2021.3
      GeForce RTX 2080ti - driver version 461.40

      VRayBitmap - does not show shaded texture properly in viewport

      simple material with stochastic tiling turned on
      - shows on material ball and in rendered/IPR
      - does not show up in viewport shaded mode

        pixelplume This is another topic and it is normal. The Stochastic Tiling option is calculated during render time, hence why there isn't a viewport preview.
