  • render element ghost

    Hey guys!

    I come into a bug, here's what I did:
-> my scene = a teapot and 2 lights. 2 Render elements = vraylightmixer and vraydenoiser.
-> I messed around with the parameters, save a encapsulated 16bit exr.
-> In nuke I load my test.exr and add a shuffle node to see all the passes available

Well that's way more than it used to be, but anyways ok.

-> I deleted the 2 render elements, re-render a test2.exr to see what would still be there in the shuffle.
-> In nuke I load test2.exr, clear the cache, create a new shuffle node: I have the exact same list. Of course if I select "vraylight001" it is pure black.

    vray 5 hotfix 2 - max 2020.3, nuke 12.1

    Cheers!

Don't quote me on this, but I am not sure the individual light elements are usable when you render with LightMixer. I know you can use VRayLightSelect, though.

Lightmixer pass in nuke works as individual VrayLightSelect pass.
