Heavy scene: IPR does not show anything

Hey guys, I have a problem here with a scene in Max2021 which consists of 2700 objects and around 125 million polygons. Production renders fine, but IPR does not show anything. Scene preparation phase is working as usual.
After hiding numerous obects in the scene, IPR is starting to show something. Very strange.
Max 2021, V-Ray 4.30.02

Figured out that this is related to the Lens Effects in IPR. Disabling the lens effects reveals the image. Error message attached.
