    Hey folks, me again.

    I swear that I am cursed and keep finding weird bugs.


    Recently I have been working on something where I keep checking the light levels in Viewport IPR and with the Safe Frames Off, it renders perfectly fine. Turn the safe frames on however, and everything shunts over to the left.

    As you can see from the second screenshot, it's moved everything left and a black space is taking up the third of the screen on the right.

    Anyone know what's causing this? It's happening on brand new scenes I have tested with as well as old ones I made before this issue.

    I'm using Max 2021 and Vray 5 Hotfix 2

    Did you install update 2 for 3ds Max 2021? Autodesk changed the way safe frames work in the viewport. If you get the latest V-Ray 5 stable build from our website nightlies.chaosgroup.com, this should be fixed.

      Ok so that would be the 20200901 on Vray 5 for 3dsmax Stable?

        Ok finally got back around to this. Tried the latest stable you had on there and it's still the same thing. Viewport IPR is skewed off to the side.

          Luchifer We must have missed picking the fix in the stable nightly. I'll notify the development team to push it for the next build.
