  • VFB Background gamma?

    Hi all,

I've loaded a (.tif) background image into the vray frame buffer and it looks a LOT brighter than any other software I've loaded it in. It looks like the gamma has been multiplied. When I change the display correction in the vfb from sRGB to "none" it displays correctly. Surely there should be some options in the "background" to have an inverse gamma curve/something to mitigate this?

    Many thanks,
    Chris

Thanks for the report. We are aware of the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-3515); it concerns tiff files exclusively. As a workaround, load the image in the VFB and re-save as jpeg and it should work fine.
