Transparency issue

Hi all,

Running the latest version of vray 5.
When using alpha transparency, I am running into an issue where the supposed transparent area turns black into the render as well as in the material. All help welcome.
I tried all various render settings and materials but did not help. I am pluging an alpha map into the transparency slot. Tried with or without fog and so on.
Also tried in the refraction slot, same thing.

What kind of map are you using? Try inverting it. Attach the scene here so we can take a look.
