vray5 2d displacement

Im using vray5 and using a 2d displacement modifier to displace white line 20mm but the result seems to diplace something more like 300mm...... any ideas why ? p.s. Im not using real world map size.

Have you tried reseting the XForm of the object ? If it's imported geometry it might help.

Yes thanks tried that but no success

Fixed it finally .......needed to switch off relative to bbox (bounding box) in the vray displacement modifier........hopefully will help someone else
