Render Elements

I am having major issues with VRay not saving elements in the EXR file. I have 16 models, all copies of the other with small changes, but no changes to the elements. I open the EXR and several don't have elements saved. Now, I have to render them over to get access to the elements.

It works perfectly fine here.
How are you setting up the file saving? there are a few different ways to go about it.

The same way all the time, with the VFB pulldown. It is very random.

I saved a few today that way, no issue.
What is random, the scene it happens on, or when it happens on a particular scene?
Can you capture it when it stops working?

I had 15 scenes to render out and all were created from one scene, with small changes. The elements didn't change. I went through, rendered each out, and saved as a layered EXR. 3 of the 15 only saved one element and when I went to render those again they rendered and saved fine without changing anything.

We have no way to repro this currently, and the code checks out just fine, i am told.
We'll have to wait until you (or someone else) can come up with an actionable report.
