  • Bad performance from Vray denoiser with DOF and motion blur.

    Hi!

See attached image. Vray denoiser with nvidia ai denoiser to the left, and default vray denoiser to the right. This animation has motion blur and dof. We have a cpu renderfarm and hence we have to use the default vray denoiser. But as you can see, this denoiser element isn't doing any good.
How can we use the default vray denoiser and get good results with dof and motion blur? Increased rendertime is fine, I understand that GPU is faster, but the result should at least be somewhat similar?

    Hi chroma,

Would it be possible to forward the scene with all its assets to support@chaosgroup.com so we can investigate further and compare? Please make sure to mention this thread in the email, along with V-Ray/3ds Max versions. Thanks!
