  • Vray library materials way too bright

    Hi!
I get every material from vray 5 library rendered way too bright.
    What do I do wrong?
In my exmaple - road and background grass. All are just shaders from built-in material library.

Color mapping mode is set to color mapping only (no gamma)

Antoher problem is that middle roof widnow in preview it is white but it is rendered white.
    It was modeled with skechup.

    I use vray 5 and 3ds max 2021.

For the middle window I would doublecheck the normals of your model are facing outwards and you don't have any overlaying geometry such as 2 duplicated windowsframes at the same position.
The other question I don't really understand: If you think the road and grass is too bright then just make them darker or?

        Hi marko.zeko,

Would it be possible to forward the scene to support@chaosgroup.com for further investigation? Make sure to mention this thread in the email, thanks.
