  • V-ray light reflection opacity

    Hello,

I have problem with v-ray lights. I have box with reflective material assign to it. I put 2 v-ray light planes behind my camera. If I turn them to invisible the opacity in reflection looks like 50%. When turning invisible off opacity goes back to 100%. I would like to make my lights invisible, but reflection opacity to 100%. How can I make it with v-ray light? I can do it with v-ray light material, but that's not a solution for me.

I upload link with short video and scene file.

    Thank you in advance,
    Maciej.

Can you try to put a V-Ray Color into the light's texture and make sure the Alpha is set to 1? And then also set it to 0 to check if there is a difference.
I'm not having the same issues like you and for me in your scene the Invisible doesn't have any affect on the reflections at all but just the primary visibility.
But I'm able to recreate your 2 different pictures with the V-Ray color in the light texture...

Currently, there isn't a way to bypass this, however, we are considering adding an option to disable the additive effect. Is this project of your urgent?
