VrayBitmap does not update image sequence frames in viewport

  • VrayBitmap does not update image sequence frames in viewport

    Just Like the title says. I can't get the vraybitmap sequence to update on a frame by frame basis in the viewport. It just sits on one frame. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

    edit: it updates in the material editor though... strange.

    That's true, I've managed to reproduce this and have logged it into our internal bug-tracking system (ID number: VMAX-10433) for developer investigation. Thanks for the pointer! Will let you know when there is any update on the matter.

        I seem to recall VRayHDRI always worked like this too.

        Work around is to use a Max Shell material and set the render to be your normal VRayMtl, but set the display to be a basic Standard or a physical material with a standard Max Bitmap node in the diffuse slot.
