So, this might not actually be a VRay issue, but I'm praying somebody knows what's going on. I have a theory, but just not 100% sure on it.
When we submit renders to our render farm from the below scene file, there's a chance that it comes back incorrectly (see black attached frame with a few bits of geo). Has anybody ever seen this happen before?
I've noticed that when I render locally, the scene uses 82GB of RAM (I have no idea why it's so, so high...) Our render nodes however have a measly 64GB. Could it be the high RAM consumption causing this?
The scene file has a lot of dressing in there that animated in and out and CAD imported via a .stp file... so, it is a large scene, but I have no idea how to fix it. When I render it locally, it never gives me an issue - but I have >82GB of RAM
Rendering to the farm using 3dscommand.exe in Deadline
Any help would be amazing.
